About Us

Genvor Incorporated (OTC: GNVR) is a developer of sustainable plant health solutions, leveraging a proprietary library of patented peptides to provide crops with anti-pathogen and enhanced nutritional properties through next-generation biological fungicide and seed traits.

CORPORATE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Patented Antimicrobial & Nutrient Enhancing Peptides (AMPs & NEPs): AMPs & NEPs pull upon established science and industry practices to improve upon a plant’s natural defenses to protect against pathogens or enhance nutrition in a variety of crops
  • Significant Global Need: $220B of crops are lost to plant disease annually
  • Strong Peptide Pipeline: Several active trait development programs in development, with trait validation greenhouse/field trials already underway in corn and citrus
  • USDA Partnership: Cooperative research and development agreement (CRADA) expected to accelerate peptide development with direct access to USDA resources
  • Robust Patent Portfolio: Genvor’s comprehensive library of 24 proprietary peptides is protected by two issued U.S. patents and a third U.S. patent pending
  • Licensing-First Model: Technology validated via initial licensing agreement with tier-1 Floridian orange farm; pursuing additional licensing partnerships for peptide pipeline
  • Experienced Management Team: Genvor’s scientists are globally recognized for 30+ years of AMP research and are now bringing their first peptides to market

AMP Technology

Antimicrobial Peptides (AMPs) are a diverse class of naturally occurring molecules innately produced as a first line of defense by all multicellular organisms, though plant peptides lack the ability to adapt and thus are often not sufficient for pathogen protection. Genvor leverages these building blocks, improving upon nature by custom-tailoring peptides to address specific issues, even to the extent of using Nutrient Enhancing Peptides (NEPs) to enhance the nutritional profile of a crop.

  • AMPs play a key role in plant defense against
    infection by bacteria and fungi
  • NEPs can be used to imbue a plant with
  • enhanced nutritional qualities
  • Unlike traditional chemicals, peptides provide
  • broad spectrum effectiveness that
  • diseases are unlikely to develop resistance to

Genvor’s patented peptides are designed to be applied easily and efficiently via one of:

  1. Biological Fungicide
  2. Seed Traits: When more efficient, genes that encode peptides are introduced into plant seeds, and the peptides are produced naturally by the plant

Superior Crop Protection Potential

  • AMPs are a compelling alternative to fungicides, which can:

– Degrade the environment

– Are inefficient to apply

– Persist in crops and in livestock

– Are less effective as resistance increases

– Are heavily regulated

  • AMPs kill microorganisms directly
  • Resistance to AMPs is rare due to mechanism of action
  • AMPs can be manufactured via a non-GMO process
  • AMPs have no known impact on human or animal cells, making them safe for use in all plants used
    for consumption

Market Opportunity

Biological Fungicide

Traditional Ag chemical growth is peaking and faces regulatory headwinds, while biologicals are in the beginning stages of a generational breakout.

  • Increasing regulations driving the phase-out of traditional Ag chemicals
  • The EPA provides a more favorable fast track registration for biologicals, which takes ~1 year (as compared to ~3 years for synthetic chemicals)
  • Many countries offer simplified registration requirements for biologicals
  • Biologicals have a minimal impact on non-target organisms inherent to their design, which protects the environment
  • Fungus is not prone to developing resistance to biologicals
  • Export regulations often exempt biologicals from pesticide residue limits
  • Organic farmers can use biologicals while maintaining their certified status

Seed Traits

Estimated Total Top 5 Grain Crop Market in North America & Europe

  • Seed Traits Market in North America is currently estimated to exceed $10B³
  • Over 75% of U.S. corn, cotton and soybeans are produced using seeds with enhanced traits4
  • For crops planted predominantly with seed traits (corn, soybeans, and cotton), seed prices rose by an average of 463 percent between 1990 and 2020 – driven by many more traits per seed5

Capital-Light Model Leverages Third Party R&D Footprint and Licensing Approach to Reduce Burn

  • Genvor’s model is to develop and license proprietary designed peptides in the form of biological fungicide or seed traits to downstream partners
  • Licensing can take the form of reimbursement of R&D fees, milestone payments and royalty of future sales
  • Highly scalable and capital efficient with minimized overhead, allowing Genvor to focus on core R&D competency

Trait License Royalties

  • A trait is a valuable characteristic within a specific crop
  • Traits within specific crops are global traits
  • Traits are paid on a per Acre/Hectare basis
  • Trait Fees often based on specific defined savings to a farmer
  • Initial focus on novel traits for current pipeline of crops
